Italian good cooking and the richness of the country’s typical productions make tourism in Italy an unforgettable experience.
For this reason the choice of Gubbio and the Park Hotel “Ai Cappuccini” as the location for the Congress has also been dictated by the high quality of the restaurants throughout the whole town, and by the fame of the excellent cuisine at the hotel, where the greatest attention and care are given to the selection of foods and wines.
The hotel will also have an exhibition area where the institutional booths of the Regions and other organizations operating in the agricultural-livestock sector will be set up, to show local handicrafts and typical food products.
In order to highlight “made in Italy” products as best as possible, an evening has been scheduled for Saturday, 30 April, at the splendid Villa Benveduti in Gubbio, devoted to Italian typical regional products, during which it will be possible to taste the finest delicacies that our territory has to offer.
A place of honour will, of course, be reserved for Italian meats, which will be the centre of attention during the gala dinner to be held the evening of Sunday, 1 May, at the end of the Congress. Sponsored by the “Vitellone Bianco dell’Appennino Centrale” Consortium, the evening will include refined tastings of dishes based on the prized Chianina, Marchigiana, Romagnola, Maremmana and Podolica beefs.
