Obligation to use bioptic ear tags
Warning: Calves of Marchigiana, Chianina, Romagnola, Maremmana e Podolica breed, born from 01/01/2018 will have to be identified by bioptic ear tags.
No further derogations will be made. Therefore calves not identified as above indicated from this date will not be registered with the Herd Book.

Breeders who will not use this identification system during 2018 will be excluded from the Herd Book.
