On the 28th of March A.N.A.B.I.C.'s executive commettee, has appointed Roberta Guarcini as new Director of the Association.
The prestigious assignment confirms the professionality, the dedication and the organizational abilities demonstrate from Roberta Guarcini in the development of all the tasks faced in the course of her career.
After achieving her degree in Classic Letters at the Orazio school of Rome and the bachelor in Agrarian Sciences at the University of Perugia, Roberta Guarcini worked from 1982, during 7 years, in collaboration with the Istituto Sperimentale di Zootecnia of Rome, on the development of the apiarian techniques and the characterization of honey.
At ANABIC from 1989, she became Expert of the five Italian Beef Cattle Breeds and she has been in charge of the Show Office, taking care of their organization, ring secretary and becoming very soon the more appreciated speaker.
From 1995 to 1996 was in support to the activities of the CCBI-5R Meat Consortium.
Subsequently, she has been in charge of the ANABIC Promotional Office, coordinating in a determinant way the organization of the greater events organized by Anabic, first of whom tho 4° Italian Beef Cattle International Congress held in Gubbio on May 2005.
In charge of the Publication Office she has cured as Head Editor the development of Taurus and Taurus International, official magazines of the Association, collaborating moreover to the drawing up of the technical-didactic and promotional editions of Anabic.
From 2002 she has been assigned to the Quality Area, specializing herself to norms UNI-EN ISO 9001: 2000 and 19011: 2002 as Internal Auditor.
Married and mother of a daughter, Roberta loves sport, music and the good readings. Her deep acquaintance of the Association, lived in every role, joined to the organizational ability and her strong determination constitutes the ideal premises to the accomplishment of this new assignment. She's the first director “in rose” of National Breeders Associations in Italy; a sign of the times that make us proud.
